Colloidal centrifugation of boar semen could reduce antibiotic use during insemination

Boar semen can be cooled and stored without antibiotics if it is first centrifuged through a colloid to separate the sperm from bacteria, a new study from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) shows. The method could reduce the use of antibiotics in food production.
