Drone based identification and spot herbicide treatment of blackgrass in cereal fields

This project aims to develop methods for early detection of weeds in cereal fields as well as to utilise a drone-based herbicide application system for their economically and ecologically sustainable control. These methods are expected to significantly reduce farm operation costs by reducing cost of herbicides and tractor pulled spraying operations.
