From Production to Consumer and Innovation
The project aims to create and establish a hub for the development of the plant protein field and to secure this thematic research area around plant proteins. Through successful grant applications, the development of educational activities, and joint publications—both scientific and popular science-oriented—the project will strengthen the faculty’s capacity and visibility in this area.
The project is intended to position the LTV Faculty as a recognized leader in research, education, and collaboration across the entire plant protein value chain, encompassing plant breeding and field production conditions, protein-based products, consumer perspectives on cultivation, production and products, and the development of new and innovative plant protein-based products.
The initiative will create new opportunities for collaboration throughout the entire protein value chain by bringing together several successful research environments within the faculty. This will provide unique opportunities to increase visibility and achieve further success in research, education, and stakeholder engagement.
The vision of the project is for the LTV Faculty to be recognized for its successful research, education, and collaboration across the entire plant protein value chain, from plant breeding and sustainable field-based crop production, to protein-based products, consumer perspectives on cultivation, production and products, and the development of new and innovative plant protein-based products. The objective of the project is to establish a hub for the development of this field, creating the conditions necessary for successful grant applications, educational development, and joint publications, both scientific and popular science-oriented.
