What do you do for a living?

I work as an Action Coordinator at Greenpeace in Sweden.

What does that involve?

I develop creative interventions that push our campaigns forward, train our activists in climbing and kayaking, and am responsible for safety during different activities. This means that I am part of project teams where I develop strategies and tactics, but I also do a lot of hands-on work with our volunteers and activists - making banners, field work, etc.

How did you end up there?

I've been a volunteer for Greenpeace for many years. During my Master's at SLU, I decided to do an internship at Greenpeace in Sweden, which opened the door to the organisation for me.

Do you have any advice for those considering studying at SLU?

Get out there! In the NGO world, there is a lot of space for unique talents and passions!

Which part of your job would you miss the most if you quit tomorrow?

Having access to all kinds of weird stuff - boats, kayaks, hot air balloons. Whatever it is, we probably have it.
