The student will after the course: -have knowledge about general forest statistics -have knowledge about basic forest silviculture -have knowledge about basic forest inventory -have knowledge about basic forest planning -have knowledge about basic forest modeling

Innehåll

Lectures about the basic statistical facts about Swedish forests and forestry. Lectures about the most common silvicultural measures, and the reasons for doing them. Lectures about the most common methods to make forest inventories, and the use of inventory data. Lectures about the most common forest planning methods and techniques. Lectures about the most common forest modeling systems, and the use of such models.

Examinationsformer

Written exam. Course Credit Passed exam as well as participation in compulsory moments.
