Mussels and yeast - alternative feed raw materials for arctic char

Domestic feed raw materials that do not compete with our own food production are crucial for sustainably produce feed for farmed fish. Researchers at SLU have shown in a project that it is possible to use raw materials from the Baltic Sea, such as mussels and purified fishmeal, as well as baker's yeast as the main ingredients in fish feed for arctic char.
