Projekt

”Resistance Gene Array” a targeted approach for capturing of plant resistance genes. A formas project where we will develop a protocol using “Sequence capturing” to capture, sequence and quantify known R-gene sequences and R-gene-like sequences in barley  (Hordeum vulgare L.) genotypes with
known levels of resistance to the bird cherry-oat aphid, Rhopalosiphum padi (L.). The aim is to identify one
or several R-genes against R. padi. This project is financed by FORMAS.

Molekylärgenetiska studier av återkorsningsserier i korn med resistensgener mot havrebladlus införda från vildkorn. The aim with the project is to identify markers for resistance towards the bird-cherry oat aphid in spring barley.  The project is financed by Einar och Inga Nilssons stiftelse.

Combining Knowledge from Field and from Laboratory for Pre-breeding in Barley III  The barley project is a public-private partnership (PPP)  collaboration between Nordic plant breeding entities (Boreal Plant Breeding, Finland; Graminor, Norway; Nordic Seed, Denmark; Sejet Planteforadling, Denmark) and academic institutions (The Agricultural University of Iceland, Luke, Finland and SLU). The main objective is to lay the foundation for effective barley breeding for disease resistance and yield stability under changing climatic conditions. Financed by the Nordic Council of Ministers and the breeding entities within the project.

Resistensförädling för friska grödor. The project is financed by SLU Grogrund.
