The restorative effects of nature are made accessible for people with limited access to natural environments through specially produced VR nature environments. Interventions were made and evaluated in close collaboration between research, technology development, and health and social care professionals.

  • Our VR-Nature Environments

    Our VR environments have been recorded in northern Sweden and Finland, encompassing a diverse range of natural landscapes, seasonal variations, times of day, weather conditions, and degrees of animal presence. The recordings used for the interventions within the project are approx.15 minutes long. Each environment is briefly described below, accompanied by a short preview (approx. 1 min), accessible via the arrow.
