Thematic groups

The members of SLU Partnership Alnarp meet in thematic groups for in-depth dialogue on specific issues. Our six thematic groups come togehter two to three times a year. Each group is led by a thematic group coordinator and a chair.

Biobased Materials

The group focuses on circular and bioeconomy, raw materials for energy and high-value materials, as well as nutrient recycling.

Animals

The group focuses on technology for animal production, as well as building solutions and local environments that promote good animal health.

Horticulture

The group focuses on issues related to production development and innovation in the horticultural field.

Forestry

The group focuses on forest management and biology, with an emphasis on silviculture, damage, policy, and nature conservation.

Crop production

The group focuses on issues related to cropping systems, plant protection, and product quality.

Market and management

The group focuses on profitability, leadership, and added value throughout the production chain.
