About SLU Partnerskap Alnarp

SLU Partnership Alnarp is a collaborative organisation between SLU Alnarp and industry, authorities, and trade associations within the fields of agriculture, forestry, and horticulture.

The partnership has been successfully active since 2004. By addressing current challenges and leveraging the opportunities provided by research, it creates foundations for developing sustainable solutions, research, and education. Within SLU Partnership Alnarp, dialogue activities, research projects, skills development, and theses are carried out in collaboration between academia and members.

The purpose of SLU Partnership Alnarp is to strengthen the competitiveness of the agricultural, horticultural and forestry sectors and contribute to sustainable development, while also enhancing SLU’s research and education.

Organisation

We have around 100 members who meet a couple of times a year in thematic groups. In addition to these meetings, the network also come together through various dialogue activities. Each thematic group has an SLU coordinator and a chair from one of the member organisations.

The office consists of an executive director, programme secretary, administrator, and communications officer.

The partnership’s steering group consists of the chairs of the thematic groups, the executive director, and the dean.
