Each year, SLU Partnership Alnarp organises a range of meetings on current topics. The purpose is to bring together academia and partners to review the state of knowledge and identify development needs.
Would you like to organise an activity related to agriculture, horticulture, or forestry? You can apply for funding from SLU Partnership Alnarp. Applications must be submitted by employees of the LTV Faculty or the Southern Swedish Forest Research Centre, in collaboration with one or more partners in the network.
In the information about the activity, SLU Partnership Alnarp should be mentioned as a funder. We can provide the logo upon request.

How to apply
Applications for funding of activities can be submitted throughout the year. It is recommended to submit your application well in advance of the planned activity to allow for promotion to the partnership’s members and other stakeholders.
Prepare your application with a description of the activity, a communication plan, and a budget. Use the guidance provided below!
Applications are submitted via the electronic form. Submit it by clicking “Submit final application.”
Submitted applications are reviewed by the SLU Partnership Alnarp Executive Committee (AU), which meets once a month. In autumn 2025, the meetings are scheduled for 8 October, 10 November, and 12 December.
Final reporting of activities
Final reporting consists of sending a short summary of what was carried out, along with the invitation/program and a link to any documentation, to partnerskapalnarp@slu.se.
Together with your department’s financial administrator, prepare a signed financial report, which should also be sent to the partnership.
In the information about the activity, SLU Partnership Alnarp should be mentioned as a funder. We can provide the logo upon request.
SLU Partnership Alnarp can create a calendar event on slu.se for your activity. In that case, send the description and program to the communicator.
After the activity, we are happy to help disseminate the results. If you have photos, videos, or impactful summaries suitable for newsletters or social media, we welcome them (please ensure that you have consent before sharing images of individuals).
Costs can be reimbursed from the date your application is submitted, provided that it is approved. Costs incurred before that date will not be reimbursed.
Applications are submitted via a web form. The summary in the form is important and should provide a clear overview of the activity, including its purpose, objectives, and implementation.
Describe how the activity will reach your target audiences and which channels you will use. Will the activity produce any concrete results? Will the results be useful and shared with others beyond the participants?
Please note that, for accessibility reasons, SLU cannot publish documentation in the form of presentations that are not accessibility-compliant or videos without subtitles.
You should apply to SLU Partnership Alnarp for the portion of costs not covered by other funding, including partner contributions. The balance should be zero when calculated in the form.
Partner funding: Indicate the contribution from partner companies, either in cash or as in-kind work converted to SEK.
Other funding: Specify any additional funding and the funder.
Other costs: Include venue costs, refreshments, materials, etc.
Applicants should indicate whether the activity is part of a larger application. Any funds already secured or requested from other funders must be clearly stated.
Personnel costs are generally not reimbursed and should only be included if the director has approved an extended budget.
In special cases, it is possible to fund personnel costs of up to SEK 25,000 per activity in addition to the maximum amount of SEK 50,000 per activity. This funding may cover SLU employees or external resource persons. For now, this option is limited to four activities per year, i.e., a maximum of SEK 100,000 annually.
The director decides which activities should be prioritised for an extended budget. Guiding criteria for prioritising seminars/conferences with personnel cost support are:
High relevance for members of SLU Partnership Alnarp
Collective benefit, even if there is less direct benefit for the responsible project leader/organiser
The scope and complexity of the activity’s implementation
