The research vessel S/V Asterix belongs to the Department of Aquatic Resources. The vessel is primarily used for surveys in Sweden's large lakes (Vänern, Vättern, Mälaren, and Hjälmaren), but Asterix is also excellent for investigations in coastal areas.
The vessel is equipped for water sampling, trawling, and hydroacoustic surveys, and onboard, it has a trawl, winches, a research echo sounder, and radar.

We rent out the vessel, including a skipper, for suitable activities. Asterix is equipped for hydroacoustic surveys, trawling, and net fishing. It is also well-suited for water, plankton, and benthic fauna sampling. The vessel can be transported by trailer and passed through locks.
