Fish monitoring along the coast – KUL

Page reviewed:  28/03/2025

The database for fish monitoring along the coast (KUL) contains catch data from coastal fish surveys. KUL also stores data from individual fish sampling during coastal surveys. This may include, for example, sex distribution or information about the length, weight, or age of individual fish.

KUL has been in operation in its current form since 2006. The use of the database consists of two parts: data registration and retrieval of coastal fish data. Data registration is done through the Kreg application, which supports standardized survey types for coastal fishing.

Retrieve data

You can retrieve data from KUL via our web-based reports or through a mapping service.
