Collaboration
Knowledge in dialogue with industry, authorities and society
Collaboration is a central part of our business. We work closely with the horticultural and agricultural industries, authorities and other actors to ensure that our research is of practical benefit and contributes to the development of sustainable and competitive production systems.
There is a great need to spread knowledge about the important production that takes place in agriculture and horticulture. Through active dialogue and targeted communication, we strengthen the understanding of the industry's importance and increase interest in its future issues.
Many research questions are best developed in collaboration with the sector's stakeholders. Through SLU Partnership Alnarp, we carry out applied research projects where the results are presented in easily accessible formats, including fact sheets and thematic summaries.
Industry Days Together
We also arrange subject-specific activities together with the industry, such as Alnarp's Poultry Day, Pig Day, Milk Day and Beef Day, where research and practice meet.
Through these collaborations, we create a platform for knowledge exchange, innovation and long-term development of Swedish horticultural and agricultural production.
