SLU University Animal Hospital

SLU University Animal Hospital in Uppsala, Sweden is the only university animal hospital in the country. We have extensive and solid experience in animal health care, and several of the country's leading specialists work here. 

Cancer Clinic (Oncology)

Specialist clinic for dogs and cats with tumour diseases. 

Dental Clinic (Odontology)

Specialist clinic for horses, dogs, and cats, focusing on dental and oral cavity conditions.

Eye Clinic (Opthalmology)

Specialist clinic for horses, dogs, and cats handling cases concerning eyes. 

Heart Clinic (Cardiology)

Specialist clinic for dogs and cats where you examine the heart. 

Orthopaedic Clinic 

Specialist clinic for orthopaedics (bones, joints, and muscles) for dogs and cats.

Reproduction Clinics 

Reproduction Center for Large Animals

At the Reproduction center for large animals, we can, for example, help with fertility assessments. 

Reproduction Center for Dogs and Cats

At the Reproduction center for dogs and cats, we can offer help with investigation and treatment of diseases in the reproductive organs, optimization of mating timing, estrous disorders, fertility assessments, semen freezing, and artificial insemination (AI).

Respiratory Clinic

Specialist clinic that treats both horses with non-infectious diseases and those with infectious diseases (the latter are managed in a dedicated isolation unit).

Ruminants Clinic

The Ruminants Clinic is part of the Department of Clinical Sciences, and the clinic is run for educational and research purposes.
