Would you like to shape the sustainable agriculture of the future? The Department of Crop Porduction Ecology offers courses within SLU’s degree programs at both the bachelor’s and master’s levels, along with standalone courses. Additionally, we provide doctoral education.
Undergraduate studies
In our courses, you will study plant biology and ecology. You will also gain knowledge about how production methods and cropping systems affect yield, quality, and the environment, knowledge that is essential for designing sustainable farming systems.
Postgraduate studies
Our PhD students contribute to solving vital global challenges. How can we ensure that food, feed, bioenergy, and fiber are sufficient for everyone while reducing the environmental impact of agriculture?
