At the Department of Crop Production Ecology, several units and infrastructures serve as important resources, not only for the Department and SLU, but also for society at large. They support research, education, and collaboration, and contribute with expertise, data, and technical solutions.
Resources and collaboration
-
SLU Lövsta Field Research Station
SLU Lövsta Field Research Station runs about 100 agricultural field trials in the Uppsala area. Many of the trials are connected to research projects at SLU, but we also welcome assignments from other entities. This website is currently under construction. More information will be available soon. -
SLU Röbäcksdalen Field Research Station
The field research station carries out the official variety trials of forage crops, cereals and potatoes. Several long-term experiments are under the management of the field station, including different fertilization regimes, soil processing, and crop rotations. Individual researchers also have experiments that we carry out and manage. This website is currently under construction. More information will be available soon. -
SLU Fältforsk
SLU Fältforsk is a joint body between the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) and external stakeholders in the agricultural sector. SLU Fältforsk's main tasks are to coordinate the planning of national field research and the processing of results, as well as to ensure the quality of methods and techniques used both in the field and in laboratories. -
SLU Centre for Organic Food and Farming
SLU Centre for Organic Food and Farming at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences works with collaboration, coordination and information on organic agriculture research in a Swedish, Nordic and international perspective. Epok is a resource for the entire SLU for communications with the outside world and to coordinate and initiate research and education. -
SLU Agricultural Long-Term Experiments
Many effects of crops, crop rotations and cropping practices used within agriculture only become visible in the long term. The SLU Agricultural Long-Term Experiments are funded by the Faculty of Natural Resources and Agricultural Sciences at SLU, and the data collected in these constitute a unique and valuable resource for research, education, and professional advice. We welcome researchers to use data from our archived long-term field trials or to take new samples. Information from the experiments may also be useful for advisors and others who are interested in Swedish agriculture. -
SITES Röbäcksdalen
SITES Röbäcksdalen represents an agricultural landscape where animals are included (e.g. manure, leys, pasture). We offer good possibilities for studies on sustainability, effects of climate change and agroecology in farming systems containing animals.
