Research and postgraduate education

The department's research is often conducted in a borderland between social and natural sciences and can concern work environment, behavior, experience, landscape architecture, health, attitudes, preferences, entrepreneurship, consumer behavior, perception, motor development, leadership, etc.

The goal of the postgraduate education at the department is primarily to educate researchers but also to prepare for the labor market outside SLU or another university.

The education also aims to deepen knowledge within the department's subject areas and, through research supervision, to make the student well prepared for independent efforts in research and development work.

The goal of the education is to give the student the skills to critically and independently plan, lead, participate in, complete and disseminate knowledge about research and development projects.
