User policy
Researchers and students at SLU can gain access to Sensola's equipment for use in research projects and student work. A prerequisite is that the use is research-oriented, and that the applicant can demonstrate that ethical considerations have been given due consideration.
To gain access to equipment, a short application and signature of a user agreement are required.
Facilities
A stationary laboratory consisting of a control room and two study rooms. This includes equipment for audiovisual representation, as well as the possibility of measuring eye movements (eye-tracking) and physiological response.
A mobile laboratory consisting of a set of smart, new technology for on-site studies. All equipment is portable and enables the collection of location data (e.g. GPS, accelerometry, audiovisual recordings) as well as physiological data (e.g. heart rate and skin conductance).
Propose a project
The lab equipment can be used by researchers and students working at SLU. Expressions of interest should be addressed to Sensola's coordinator well in advance of the intended start time (at least four weeks).
Users need to fill out an application with a brief description of the project's purpose, method and expected results. The application should also state how ethical considerations have been taken into account. The principal applicant is responsible for research ethics including correct and secure storage of data. After the application is approved, a user agreement is signed by both parties.
