Our goal
Here at our department, we offer undergraduates and postgraduate students an opportunity to gain practical and theoretical knowledge necessary for shaping the future of management in our and the world's forests.
Through our courses within the Forester program's framework and free-standing courses, you can develop advanced knowledge of research areas from basic process understanding to practical silviculture and forest management.
More abour teaching at forest ecology and management
Our teaching and research are focused mainly on boreal forest ecosystems, however, we also do research in the temperate and tropical forests of the world in the following areas:
- Silviculture
