Patrick Sherwood - Deputy Head of Department

I am a forest pathologist and researcher at the Southern Swedish Forest Research Centre and have been at SLU since 2019. As Deputy Head of Department, I support the management and daily operations of the department and help coordinate matters related to infrastructure, facilities, procurement, and organizational development. ● External visitors can contact me regarding collaborations, departmental operations, practical matters related to our facilities, and general questions about the department.

Annika Felton - Director of Studies

I am a senior lecturer and, as Director of Studies at the department, I have overall responsibility for the department’s education at bachelor’s and master’s level. I am responsible for coordinating all our teaching and work closely with the programme directors of studies and education administrators. ● Please contact me for questions concerning the department’s education.

I am responsible for the overall coordination and development of the Bachelors programme Forest & Landscape, working closely with teachers, students, and education administrators. ● Prospective students, applicants, and external stakeholders are welcome to contact me with questions about the program, curriculum, admission requirements, degree requirements, and program development.

Leonie Schönbeck - Director of Doctoral Studies

I have been a researcher at the department since 2023, and my research focuses on tree ecophysiology. I support doctoral students throughout their doctoral studies and conduct annual follow-ups on their progress and individual study plans. ● Please contact me for questions concerning doctoral studies, from admission to thesis defence.

As a senior lecturer with a collaboration role, I work to ensure that our department is a natural and long-term partner for stakeholders across the entire forestry sector. I have worked as a departmental administrator/HR support officer at the department since 2008. Find us

Campus Alnarp is located on the Öresund coast, just north of Malmö, south of Lomma, and west of Lund and Åkarp. It is easy to get here by train, bus, bicycle or car.

By train
The nearest station is Åkarp, on the Malmö–Lund line, approximately 2 km from Alnarp. From there, you can walk or cycle to campus.

By bus
• To Malmö C: Take bus 139 to Burlöv station, then continue by train to Malmö C.
• From Malmö C: Take the train to Burlöv station, then bus 139 towards Lomma and get off at Campus Alnarp.
• To Lund C: Take bus 139 via Lomma, or take the train from Åkarp station.

By car
• From the E6: Take the exit at the Lomma interchange. Turn right, then left at the roundabout by Circle K towards Alnarp.
• From the E22: Take exit 19, Lund S, then road 108 towards Kävlinge, road 103 towards Lomma, and turn left by Circle K towards Alnarp.
• From the E6/E20/E22 northbound: Take exit 17, Helenelund, follow signs towards Åkarp and turn left towards Alnarp.

From the airports
• Copenhagen Airport/Kastrup: Take the Öresund train to Malmö C, then the train to Burlöv and bus 139 to Campus Alnarp.
• Malmö Airport/Sturup: Take the airport coach to Malmö C, then the train to Burlöv and bus 139 to Campus Alnarp.
