The Plant Protection Trail

In Alnarp Park, there is a Plant Protection Trail. Around 61 signs are placed in locations where the described plant damages typically occur at some point during the year.

The signs include text and images describing specific plant damage.

Some of the signs are in a smaller format, showing only an image of the damage and the name of the issue.

Over the years, many students have used the Plant Protection Trail as part of their education. It has received overwhelmingly positive feedback, with students noting that it has contributed to both improved learning and a greater interest in the subject area.

The purpose of this trail is also to encourage visitors to discover various types of plant damage and to deepen their understanding of the living conditions of plant pests and pathogens.
