The ultrasonic toothbrush does not remove tartar in dogs – but may help prevent it from forming

Ultrasonic toothbrushes are marketed as a way to remove tartar without anesthesia – but until now, there has been a lack of scientific evidence as to whether the method actually works. This is investigated in a new study from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU).
