Farm to Fork Strategy
On behalf of SLU Future Food, ten researchers at SLU have analyzed the EU's Farm to Fork strategy based on their respective areas of expertise. The analyses have now been published as nine different interim reports, where the researchers point to complex connections and conflicts of interest.
The analyses cover areas such as food safety, food waste, the conflict of interest between organic production and plant biotechnology, consumer perspectives, aquaculture, entrepreneurship and food culture aspects.
In autumn 2020, SLU Future Food announced internal funding for researchers to write analyses of the EU's Farm to Fork strategy. Through the analyses, SLU Future Food wants to show that SLU is brave enough to address complex connections and difficult conflicts of interest in the EU strategy and that SLU is working systemically around this and disseminating knowledge.
