Short summary
Together with the Swedish Property Board we use digital tools to estimate how much water that can be stored in forest upstream agricultural fields. The aim is to reduce erosion and standing water on downstream fields.
We will measure what effect a detention pond in the forest has on water quality downstream. Further we assess potential barriers to implement detention ponds and what compensations are needed to upstream landowners.
