Short summary

The overall aim of the research project is to develop dialogic approaches - useful for coordinating knowledge and action in governance around wildlife management issues when knowledge is contested and actors express distrust, fear of distrust or desire for trust, and when these social relations risk making governance procedures confusing.

Within wildlife management, there are dilemmas and uncertainties about how species should be managed, and how society should prioritize between different goals. Conflicts can arise between groups with different views on what is true and right about the future. The actors in these conflicts often speak of trust gaps and lack of trust as a problem.
