The Animal Genetics Laboratory performs pedigree testing on several different animal species. In addition to pedigree testing, we also perform DNA testing for a number of genetic diseases and traits in horses and dogs.

Horse

On horses, we perform pedigree checks, color tests and tests for genetic diseases and performance traits.

Dog

The Animal Genetics Laboratory works closely with the Swedish Kennel Club (SKK) on the various routine tests carried out on dogs, both in terms of specific DNA tests, pedigree checks and identity checks.
