Applications for SWERVE-funded ship time are now open

Are you planning a marine research expedition in 2027? Researchers at Swedish universities can now apply for funding for ship time aboard several of Sweden’s research vessels, including Svea.

SWERVE (Swedish Research Vessel Infrastructure of Marine Research) is a national research infrastructure funded by the Swedish Research Council. Its aim is to strengthen Swedish marine research by improving access to research vessels and data infrastructure, as well as supporting the development of a national network of marine technicians.
