Genes affecting wool colour in Swedish sheep
Wool colour is an important trait in many sheep breeds, but the genetic background is not yet known for all colour traits. The goal with this project is to identify genes affecting wool colour in sheep.

Project description
In this project, the student can get access to already available genotype data and sequence data. This can be used to study genes associated with colour traits in sheep. The student can also do additional sequencing and study data from whole genome sequencing.
The project can be adapted to the interest of the student.
