Genes that contribute to resistance to diseases in goats

Background

There are several contagious disease present among Swedish goats. Earlier studies have showed that there are some genes that seem to be associated with resistance or tolerance to diseases.

Goal

The goal of this project is to identify genes that can give disease resistance in goats.

Project description

The student will in this project analyse DNA from already collected samples from goats with and without the two diseases CAE and CLA.
