Are you interested in how to combine lakes, rivers, streams and seas full of life with sustainable fishing? Do you have general eligibility for university studies? Then perhaps an evening web-based course on urgent sustainability issues could be suitable for you this fall?

Ecology for Fish Management and Conservation – 15 credits
Are you interested in fish, fishery management, and nature conservation? In the master's course "Ecology for Fish Management and Conservation" you will learn more about fish and their habitats, and apply your new knowledge of fish ecology in ongoing management and fishery conservation projects. The course also includes exciting field visits and practical training in fish sampling methods.

Principles of Fisheries Science – 15 credits
Here you will learn what is required for a fishery to be sustainably managed in the long term. You will also learn how data collection, biological analyses, and stock assessments are carried out. The course includes a visit to Lysekil and the Swedish West Coast, where you will participate in laboratory work and join a trawl survey aboard the research vessel M/S Hålabben.
