Our courses combine biology, technology and systems analysis and give students the tools to work with sustainable production, innovation and research.

The Department of Biosystems and Technology offers courses in the areas agricultural and horticultural crop production, animal production, buildings, energy, hydroponic systems, sustainable production systems and technology for animal and crop production.

The courses are offered in following programmes:

• Agroecology - master´s programme 
• Agricultural Science programme – Animal Science
• Horticultural Science  - master´s programme 
• Agricultural and Rural Management – Bachelor's programme  (not in English)
• Horticultural Management: Gardening and Horticultural Production (not in English)

In addition, we contribute our knowledge to many courses in other subject areas. The department also offers freestanding courses. 

On the doctoral side, we collaborate with Linköping University within the Biogas Solutions Research Center.
