How to prepare your BIOGEOMON abstract:

1. Abstract Content (350 words)

  • Title:

    • Full words only, no abbreviations unless essential.

    • Do not include country names unless topically relevant.

  • Authors:

    • List all authors with full names only (no degrees or titles).

    • The presenting author should be indicated in bold.

  • Affiliations:

    • Include department, organization, and country for each author.

  • Text:

    • Maximum 350 words (excluding title, authors, affiliations, and keywords).

    • Must be in English.

    • No figures, tables, or images allowed.


2. Session Selection

  • Choose one primary session and one alternative session for your abstract.

  • Session list can be found here.


3. Submission Portal

  • Abstracts must be submitted via the official BIOGEOMON 2026 submission system.

  • Ensure at least one author is registered for the conference—abstracts will only be published for registered participants.

  • There is no cost for abstract submission but accepted abstracts will have to pay the registration fees (soon to be announced)

4. Formatting Guidelines

  • Proofread carefully: authors are responsible for typos, grammar, and scientific accuracy.

5. Ethics & Originality

  • Abstracts must be original work.

  • Avoid plagiarism or duplicate submissions.

  • Declare any conflicts of interest if relevant.


6. Submission Confirmation & Tracking

  • Confirm receipt of your submission via the acknowledgment email from the submission system.

  • Contact support if you do not receive confirmation within 24–48 hours.

  • Final acceptance will be sent out in March 2026. Contact us if you need it earlier for funding/travel reasons.

7. Language & Support

  • Abstracts should be written in clear English.

  • Non-native speakers are encouraged to use proofreading services to ensure clarity.


8. Amendments & Withdrawal

  • If you need to update or withdraw your abstract, contact us.
