The second AQUARIUS call opens on 2 September 2025. Researchers in marine and freshwater fields can apply for funded access to advanced infrastructure – from research vessels and labs to monitoring stations and satellite services. -
Apply for ship time through SWERVE – the 2026 call is now open
Researchers can now apply for funded ship time through SWERVE – the infrastructure initiative that strengthens Swedish marine science. Several vessels are included, including R/V Svea. The call is open until 20 July 2025. -
Congratulations Svea – five years in the service of the sea
After a long-planned month at the shipyard in Falkenberg, R/V Svea is now out on an expedition again; newly painted, newly serviced and upgraded with new scientific equipment and an improved IT environment.
