Farmvisit: Hagby gård
Since 2010, Hagby gård has been run organically. It is run so that it takes care of the beautiful landscape and preserves cultural elements such as old buildings, oak trees and ancient monuments.
Their goal is to restore and preserve Hagby gård's nature with the help of sheep and cows and to run the farm with renewable energy and environmentally friendly alternatives.

The farm is run by Jozef and Jeanette and produces grain, lamb and beef and has its own farm shop where you can also buy organic vegetables, eggs, flour, honey, charcuterie and more. The farm has a small mill where they grind flour from their own grain.

The agricultural landscape around the farm is varied with flat arable land to the north and south and, closest to the farm, more hilly terrain with forested moraine islands, which are partly still grazed pastures. There is a rich element of deciduous trees in the area. The open agricultural landscape is bordered to the west and south by extensive coniferous forests. An older off-road road winds past the farm, from Torslund and on towards Ulvsbygden. The road is partly lined with old, gnarled deciduous trees.
