About the Swedish National Forest Inventory

The statistics from the Swedish National Forest Inventory are part of Sweden’s official statistics. As a basis for statistical production, the Swedish National Forest Inventory conducts an annual sample survey covering the entire area of Sweden. The inventory is managed by the Department of Forest Resource Management at SLU in Umeå.
