Funding for the organisation of courses and other activities
The research school 'Ecology - basics and applications' give funding for courses and other activities such as workshops and symposiums.
How to apply
Before you apply for funding contact the research school coodinator and discuss your ideas (contact details at the bottom of the page).
When you decided to move on with your application fill in the application form and the budget template provided by the coordinators. Send both documents to the research school coordinators.
Special attention will be given to the following in the application
- content in relation to objectives of the research school
- availability of similar courses
- number of expected participants
All course activities aimed to give PhD student credits require a documented examination.
How and when will there be a decision
The steering committee will based on your application decide if the activity can get funding from the research school. The steering group meets 4 times per year. Applicants should expect a decision within approximately a month.
Advertising the course
You provide us with course info for our website (see our Programme for format) and a 1-2 page flyer (preferably in pdf format) for our mail list and for printing.
Follow up
All activities require a student evaluation. The evaluation should be summarized and sent to the research school coordinator at least 4 weeks after the course/activity.
- A course evaluation template include mandatory questions will be provided by the research school coordinators.
