Introduction

The FFB Research School provides interdisciplinary doctoral training at the intersection of food science, biology, biotechnology, chemistry, and microbiology. By uniting researchers, doctoral students, and industry partners across these disciplines, FFB offers a broad platform for tackling global sustainability challenges through cutting-edge science and collaborative innovation.

Rooted in the research environment of the Department of Molecular Sciences at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), FFB is designed to strengthen the competence of the next generation of scientists equipped to advance sustainable food systems and biomaterial applications.
