What would you like to study?

Economy, Rural Areas and Development

Vibrant rural areas are essential if the world’s societies are to be able to grow and develop. Politics, the economy and conflict management around the world all influence the shape of this development.

Agriculture, Biotechnology and Food

Nature and food have a big impact on our health and quality of life. We need to address challenges such as growing crops in sustainable and effective ways with minimal impact. Almost all the food you eat and the clothes you wear are made from raw materials produced through agriculture in Sweden or abroad. Agriculture is essential.

Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine

Animals are a major part of our society. They provide us with food, and their place in sports and as pets benefits us in many other ways. Whatever our expectations, animal welfare, healthy breeding and nutritious feed are all essential and animal husbandry must be sustainable and climate-smart.

Landscape and Urban Areas

Our physical environment affects how we feel. We need people who understand how cities, landscapes and greenery affect our wellbeing in our modern society with new ways of life, globalisation and our increased knowledge of the environment’s vulnerability.

Forest

The forests are our green gold and the backbone of the Swedish economy. The forest sustains us in many ways – we use timber for buildings, paper for newspapers and books, but the forest also supplies us with chemical products and renewable biofuels that can replace fossil fuels. The forest is our future, and the key to a sustainable society.

Nature and Environment

Do you want to work with preserving biodiversity? Do you want to be a part of solving our environmental problems? Do you want to develop and maintain natural resources in Sweden? Are you interested in being a part of shaping our future environment both nationally and internationally?
