Studiebesök i Nod Syd – Lönnstorps forskningsstation och Majsdagen på Bollerup
Nod Syd har bjudit in SustAinimal Academy på studiebesök men fler intresserade inom SustAinimal är välkomna att delta. Den 3 sept blir det besök på Alnarp och Lönnstorps forskningsstation och presentation av pågående forskning, och den 4 sept blir det besök på Majsdagen på Bollerup lantbruksskola.

An opportunity to meet colleagues and get information about what's happening at Alnarp and at the same time visit the Maize Day and make a study visit to the farm at Bollerup agriculture school.
Wednesday, September 3
12:00–13:00 Lunch at Alnarp
13:10–14:10 Visit to SITES Lönnstorp Research Station – ongoing project

14:30–17:00 Information from Nod Syd - What’s happening at Alnarp – Research in animal environment and building function
19.00 Dinner together at a restaurant in Malmö (at your own expense)
Thursday, September 4
07.45 Pick-up at the hotel for transport to Bollerup (for those who need a ride)
09:00 Gathering at HS Maize Day at Bollerup. Participation in the Maize Day together with farmers and advisors
12:00 Lunch in the field
13:00–16:00 Tour of the farm at Bollerup. Dairy herd, pig production, and beef cattle as well as exciting crop production. The study visit will take place as a walk and talk/knowledge safari – meaning we will walk and reflect on what we see, and ask questions related to the various PhD projects.
Then transport to the Sturup Airport or the train station (Ystad or Malmö).
