Presentation

I min forskning är jag intresserad av hur marina organismer, främst fisk, deras utbredningsmönster och habitat interagerar och påverkar varandra och hur ekologisk funktionalitet varierar med havslandskapet och olika faktorer, såsom till exempel mänsklig påverkan. Min nuvarande forskning kretsar mycket kring fisk och rovfiskars strukturerande roll i ekosystemen, men också småskaligt fiske och olika förvaltningsåtgärder som marina reservat. Jag arbetar både i nordliga vatten och i tropiska områden. En stor del av min tidigare forskning har varit fokuserad kring tropiska makroalger, invasiva arter och miljöpåverkan av dessa i korallrevsmiljöer. Jag hoppas att vårt arbete på SLU Aqua ska leda till någonting positivt för våra fantastiska hav.
