Research Trainee on E-DNA method of assessing Swedish waterbodies. I have been trained on collecting, preparing and processing samples for E-DNA extraction. I also spend time in the PCR lab measuring DNA concentrations, amplifying, purifying and indexing DNA .
Presentation
I first learnt about E-DNA technique during my Master's thesis in Limnology, related to phytoplankton, and my interest was highly engaged . Thus, I decided to conduct my research training in SLU, learning how to collect samples of benthic fauna across Swedish waterbodies and finally extracting, amplifying, purifying and indexing DNA.
