Presentation
I am a Researcher at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (Umeå), in the Department of Forest Ecology and Management.
Forskning
The core of my research is focused around water transport in trees (aka sap flow). My professional interest is in bridging the gap between forest management and tree physiology. Consequently, the research projects I am involved in, have always a strong component of tree water transport and forest management. I work various ecosystems including drylands, temperate, tropical, and boreal forests.
I have a strong passion for data aquisition, and inside my area of expertise (water transport), I do continuous work on developing data collection and data analysis algorithms.
