Helena Nordh

I am a professor in Landscape Architectur. My research concerns the various scales of urban green spaces. I explore how different groups experience and use the green urban landscape. I am interested in questions about the qualities and functions of green spaces. One green space that I am particularly interested in is cemeteries and how they can be developed to meet changing burial practices, urbanisation and multicultural societies. Contributing to supportive and health-promoting outdoor environments for city residents is a driving force in my research.
