Education at the Department of Landscape Architecture, Planning and Management
Each year, approximately 500 students study the courses we offer. Our research addresses current societal challenges and practical problems linked to the landscape and how we humans are shaped by and shape our living environments.
Education
The teaching, which comprises over half of the activities, is largely focused on practical solutions, while also resting on either a scientific or artistic basis. The department has the main responsibility for courses at:
Landscape Architecture Programme
Landscape Engineering Programme
Horticultural Engineering Programme - Design
Horticultural Engineering Programme - Cultivation
Forest and Landscape
Master's Programme Landscape Architecture (in English)
Master's Programme Sustainable Urban Development (together with Malmö University)
Master's Programme Food and Landscape
Courses are also given in collaboration with other departments at the LTV Faculty.
Job opportunities
The job market is very good and the courses provide opportunities in several different professional categories.
