About the research school Organism Biology
Organism Biology describes the molecular, structural and physiological mechanisms defining an organism. It also includes studies of how organisms interact. The Organism Biology research school is an NJ faculty funded umbrella organization targeting all PhD students with an interest in plants, microorganisms and their interactions with each other and/or the environment.
Aims
- To offer high quality courses with a focus on common methodology and state of the art techniques.
- To provide information and tools to help students make informed decisions about a future career in science and related areas.
- To contribute to interdisciplinary collaborations and increased interaction between research groups, departments, universities as well as between science and society.
