Liveable Cities and Urban Nature

seminarier, workshops |

Ramboll Uppsala and SLU Urban Futures invites you to a seminar on Liveable Cities and Urban Nature the 25th of September 2019.

As cities all over the world grow and attract more people, the natural environment is increasingly under pressure. It is a global goal for the UN and the EU to stop the decline in biodiversity by 2020 at the latest. The fulfilment of that goal can be helped by a strengthened focus on urban nature and the blue green infrastructure.

The 25th September Ramboll and SLU Urban Futures welcomes everyone who wants to take part and learn more on how we can reshape our planning and policies to promote urban nature to an evening seminar in central Uppsala. We will meet, mingle and talk on how we can engage in and mobilise urban nature in order to increase wellbeing and quality of life and create liveable cities.

Don't miss the opportunity to listen to Professor Alister James Scott, Northumbria University, Newcastle, UK and his take on local cases and frontrunners in urban nature from Uppsala and Tierp.

Welcome!
