Our group is interested in understanding how environmental factors such as light and temperature regulate plant growth and development
Plants as sessile organisms cannot escape adverse environmental conditions. Instead, plants constantly adjust their physiology and development to their environment, resulting in a stunning phenotypic plasticity. However, plant phenotypic plasticity has its limits and numerous studies have demonstrated that adverse environmental conditions can have pronounced negative effects on plant productivity, species distribution, and biodiversity.
