Collaboration with industry, authorities and organisations is a natural part of SLU activities. The university contributes with knowledge and competence in various collaboration projects.
External collaboration specialists
In a unique initiative, SLU has appointed external collaboration specialists with a special focus on developing the extension processes at the university.

Interbull Centre
The Interbull Centre is the operational unit of Interbull and provides genetic information services and applied research for improvement of livestock to a worldwide network and fulfills a mandate as an European Union Reference Laboratory for Zootechnics.
Aquaculture and wildlife
National Competence Center for Aquaculture (NkfV)

Vattenbrukscentrum Norr (VBCN)
The leading player in the development of Swedish aquaculture in the Rainbow trout and Arctic Superior species. VBCN's research and experimental activities are primarily being carried out in cooperation with SLU. (Page in Swedish)
Wildlife Damage Centre (VSC)
The Swedish Wildlife Damage Centre provides information and education about management of protected wildlife, such as large carnivores and large grazing birds.
Global issues, food and sustainable development
One Health Sweden
One Health Sweden is a collaboration for researchers with interest in zoonotic infections. One Health Sweden is an integration concept including several universities and governmental organizations that wish to contribute to a sustainable intellectual platform where veterinarians, physicians, molecular biologists, ecologists and environmental chemists with an interest in zoonotic infections can interact and create synergies
Centre for Organic Food & Farming (EPOK)
