Welcome letter
Congratulations on your place on the EnvEuro Master programme at SLU in Uppsala, Campus Ultuna. We look forward to welcoming you here this autumn.
The EnvEuro programme begins with a mandatory in-person meeting for all EnvEuro students, in Vienna from afternoon Sunday 23 August to lunchtime Thursday 27 August. More information will be published on the EnvEuro web page.
Thereafter, the 2026 autumn semester at SLU starts with a welcome event, followed by a mandatory roll-call and information session.
Date: Monday 31 August
Time and place: On the New Student web page, you can find information about the start of the semester and where and when the roll-call for your programme will take place.
On that same page, you will also find all the information you need as a new student at SLU.
IMPORTANT: As an EnvEuro student, you must select a EnvEuro specialisation for your second and third semester. This choice affects which courses you take during the first semester. At SLU you can select from a wide range of courses to tailor your studies after your specific interests. Eligible SLU courses are found on the EnvEuro consortium webpage.
More information on how to apply for EnvEuro courses for the first semester will follow in a separate e-mail to admitted students.
NOTE that some of the eligible courses have prerequisites stricter than the admission requirements to EnvEuro. For prerequisites, see the course syllabus at the SLU web.
Timetables and reading lists for each course are published at least four weeks before the course starts.
Please make sure you also read the programme specific information for new students at SLU and at the central EnvEuro web pages.
If you have questions do not hesitate to contact us at enveuro@slu.se.
Once again, welcome to SLU and the EnvEuro programme!
